As a longtime reporter and a writer, Karen Janigan has fantastic listening skills with the charm and empathy to put people at ease, as well as a set of skills for dealing with the media.

As a writer of television drama and animation, she knows how to crafts stories into messages with impact that entertain and inspire.

She's seen and done many things in many different settings -- from teaching adolescents to working to finance millions of High Definition equipment, which makes her an effective communicator with a large range of audiences.

She is an early adopter of technology -- from Atari and Apple IIc of the 1970's to mobile technology of today. She is comfortable learning new skills and applying them in the social media/digital landscape.
